Welcome to the village of Slitting Mill

Slitting Mill is a hamlet of fewer than 400 people and around 155 dwellings, one and a quarter miles west of Rugeley on the very edge of Cannock Chase in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the smallest of its kind on the mainland.

St. John's is a small and delightful church, over 200 years old.

DEFIBRILLATOR STATION

There is a Defibrillator Station situated on the corner of Post Office Lane and Slitting Mill Road, near to the Horns public house.

This has been operational since October 2019 and thanks go to Rugeley First Responders, Slitting Mill Victory Hall Management Committee, and kind donors.
